The Civil Rights Movement
The Civil Rights Movement lasted from 1955-1968. The main reason for the Civil Rights Movement was for all African Americans in America to get rights equal to everyone else in the country. There were many pivotal moments in this movement, but we are going to focus on three of them. The moments that you will learn about on this website are, Dr. King's I Have A Dream Speech, The Beginning Of The Bus Boycott, and The assassination of Dr. King.
